  • When/where is it?

    The event takes place over 3 days, from Friday 3rd September to Sunday 5th September 2010 inclusive at Kutsher's Country Club in Monticello, NY.

    The three-day festival will have performances starting in the mid-afternoon, with around 35+ acts set to play live across the weekend with DJ sets until late at night, comedy, movies and more! There is dining, bars and other amenities onsite. Cinema will be hosted by Criterion and there will be a Comedy stage.

    Accommodation is also on sale at the nearby Raleigh hotel. We run a free shuttle bus all day and into the night over the weekend for anyone staying at the Raleigh.

    Alternatively there are a number of nearby motels and campsites you could stay at. See below for more info.

  • How much do tickets cost?

    The weekend ticket price is $250 + servicing fees per person. This will gain you entrance into the three day festival including all performances.

    Limited day tickets are also available, at $110 + servicing fees per person for the Friday and $120 + servicing fees per person for the Saturday.
    Day tickets for Sunday will go on sale in March.

  • How much does the accommodation at Kutsher's/The Raleigh cost?

    Accommodation costs $150 per person for the three nights + room tax + servicing fee.

    Rooms at Kutsher's are now soldout. Rooms at The Raleigh are available for groups of 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 people, the costs per room are as follows:

    *SOLD OUT - *3 person room at Kutsher's = $530
    *SOLD OUT - *4 person room at Kutsher's = $710
    *SOLD OUT - *5 person room at Kutsher's = $885

    *SOLD OUT - *6 person room at Kutsher's = $1060
    *SOLD OUT - *7 person room at Kutsher's = $1235

    *ON SALE - *3 person room at The Raleigh = $530
    *ON SALE - *4 person room at The Raleigh = $710


    The Raleigh Hotel is situated approximately 10 minutes bus ride away from Kutsher's and we will be running shuttle buses between the two hotels.

    Accommodations are sold by the room in 3 day blocks only, (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), you cannot buy just a single night. You are permitted to have any number up to the maximum occupancy in the room. For example, if you wish to purchase a 4 person occupancy room, you are permitted to have 1 - 4 people sharing the room during the event, and the price is the same for the room, regardless of how many people stay. Each person will still need to purchase a festival pass.

    If you do not have enough people to fill a 3 or 4 person room, please check our Facebook Discussion Page as anyone with spare places in their rooms will be advised to advertise them there.

  • What other accommodation is available nearby?

    As well as the Kutsher's and the Raleigh, there are a number of other options for where you can stay near the event. Try googling for 'Monticello NY hotels' or 'Monticello NY motels'.

    Many of the motels are just a short cab ride away from Kutsher's.

  • When Will I Receive My Tickets?

    Tickets will be sent to arrive around a week before the event.

    All international ticket orders (outside the US/Canada) will be available for pick-up from the Kutsher's reception desk on the first day of the festival.

    Please note if you book a room at The Raleigh you will need to check-in for the room at The Raleigh, and then check-in with your festival tickets at Kutsher's.

  • I feel like driving to ATP but how do i get there?

    The site is less than a 2 hour drive from New York City. Click on the links below for driving instructions and maps from a number of locations:

  • Which is the nearest Airport and how do I get from there to ATP?

    The nearest airports are JFK, LaGuardia, Newark, and Stewart.

    JFK- Approx 108 miles - 132 minutes
    Van Wyck Expressway to Whitestone Bridge to Cross Bronx Expressway. Cross Bronx Expressway to Major Deegan Expressway North to NYS Thruway, North to Exit 16. Route 17 West to Exit 105B. Turn left onto Anawana Lake Road at first traffic light. Three miles to Kutsher's.

    LaGuardia- Approv 96 miles - 116 minutes
    Grand Central Parkway to Triboro Bridge to Major Deegan Expressway North. Follow directions as above.

    Newark- Approx 110 miles - 120 minutes
    New Jersery Turnpike North to Rte 80 West to Garden State Parkway, North to NYS Thruway North. Follow directions above.

    Stewart- Approx 45 miles - 50 minutes
    Leave airport and turn left. At first traffic light make a left, next traffic light make a left. Take Rte 84 West to Binghamton Exit. Take 17 West to Exit 105B. Turn left onto Anawana Lake Road at first Traffic light. Three miles to hotel.

  • What options are available if I wanted to travel to the site using public transport?

    Bus:

    Scheduled ShortLine/Coach USA Bus service from NY Port Authority Terminal in Manhattan to Monticello. Buses leave terminal located at 41st Street on 8th Ave. There are many buses throughout the day and it costs approx $58 return. Purchase tickets at windows 5,6,7.     Charter Bus / Private Car / Limousine:

    Charter bus, car, and private limousine services are available. Call Kutsher's service desk on 1-800-431-1273 for information.

  • Can I Park On-site?

    Yes there is plenty of parking for everyone, but we recommend for the sake of the environment that you car share where possible. The parking will be charged at a small fee per car for the weekend (last year: $10).

  • What Times Can I Check In / Out?

    Kutsher:

    Check-in is from 12noon on Friday September 3rd.

    Check-out time is 3pm on Monday September 6th.

    This year we have extended the weekend slightly; so DJs, food and bars will keep going until 6pm on Monday September 6th.

  • What Time Do The Bands Start On Friday?

    Bands usually start at around 4 or 5pm on the Friday.

  • What Else Is There To Do?

    Well, apart from watching around 35 fantastic live acts in intimate venues plus comedy, movies, pop quiz and more, there are too many other activities to mention them all but here are a few to start off with..

    Some of the activities for free are:

    Indoor Pool
    Bicycles
    Outdoor Tennis and Basketball Courts
    Indoor Cardio-Vascular Equipment and Free Weights
    Health Club / Wet and Dry Sauna
    Ping Pong Tables, Pool Tables
    Boating on the lake

    Activities which are come at extra cost are:

    Tennis Lessons and Private Court Time.
    18 Hole Championship Golf Course / Golf Club rental.
    Massages at the health club.

  • Where Do I Go If I Have A Problem Over the Weekend?

  • Is there a bar at the event?

    Yes, of course! There will be several bars also with live djs.

    Non-American attendees should remember it is customary to tip bartenders per drink (a dollar per drink is the commonly accepted amount).

  • What about food?

    There will be food vendors on-site with several options covering carnivores, vegetarians and vegans. Please be aware, there are no cooking facilities within the accommodation.

  • Can I take photos/video?

    Sorry but no professional type cameras or recording devices will be allowed in the venues.

    By entering the event site you agree to being filmed or photographed which may be used for marketing or promotional purposes.

  • What about children? Do they need tickets?

    No tickets are needed for under 5's, as long as they don't require a bed.

    Under 21s can attend the event - please note wristbands to use the bars will only be granted to those with ID.

  • Are you selling bus travel from New York to the festival like you did last year?

    Yes we are, see below for full details.

    Please note, we will not be providing physical bus tickets for this event. Passengers will receive a confirmation code via email nearer the time of the event that they can use to board the bus.

    Weekend Bus Tickets
     
    We will be running buses leaving from Manhattan and Brooklyn again this year. These will be making drops at both Kutsher's Country Club and The Raleigh.

    The pick up and drop off points are being arranged and you will receive this information via email in good time before the event, and we will also post the information on the NEWS section of our website.
     
    Buses will leave at 10:00am prompt on Friday, September 3rd. Approximate journey time is 2.5 hours, but this may differ depending on traffic. Buses will make one stop at Kutsher's Country Club and one stop at The Raleigh.
     
    The buses will return to Manhattan and Brooklyn, leaving Kutsher's and The Raleigh around 11:00am on Monday, September 6th. Make sure you're ready for this time, waiting outside the main entrance to Kutsher's or The Raleigh at the bus pick up point.
     
    Please note that the times quoted above are subject to change but we will try to keep as close as possible to these. You will receive full confirmation of the departure point and time closer to the event once the band schedule is finalised - we want to make sure you get to the event on time and don't miss anything!
     
    Please note that tickets are non refundable if you don't use them. Tickets must be purchased in advance - please don't turn up without having paid in advance as we won't let you on! We are only selling return fares, no single tickets are available. Bus ticket prices include a gratuity for the driver.

    Daytripper Bus Tickets
     
    We are also running daytripper buses to the festival. Daytripper buses are for those attending a single day at the festival and wish to use the ATP bus service to return to Manhattan.
     
    Buses leave from Manhattan and will drop you off at Kutshers Country Club.
     
    The pick up and drop off points are being arranged and you will receive this information via email in good time before the event, and we will also post the information on the NEWS section of our website.
     
    Buses will leave at midday prompt on Friday, September 3rd and 10:00am prompt on Saturday/Sunday. Approximate journey time is 2.5 hours, but this may differ depending on traffic.
     
    The buses will return to Manhattan, leaving Kutshers at around 1:00am. Make sure you're ready for this time, waiting outside in front of the main entrance at the bus pick up point. Should bands over-run the bus will leave as soon as the performance is over so please leave as soon as you can when the last set is complete.

  • Can I camp on-site?

    No, sorry.

    The following campsite is around a mile away and has been used by ATP attendees in the past:

  • Can I Park my RV at Kutsher's?

    No sorry, it is resort policy to disallow any RVs on site including in the carparks.

    All ATP New York performances take place indoors in intimate venues with fantastic sound systems so there's no chance of us being rained off.

  • What is the Layaway Payment Scheme?

    To make it easier for some people to pay for their weekend tickets, we will allow them to pay $125 of their weekend ticket price now, with the second $125 payable by 31st March 2010.
