With All Tomorrow's Parties first UK I'll Be Your Mirror event fast approaching (it takes place on the weekend of 23rd & 24th July at the beautiful Alexandra Palace, London), we can now announce some more additions. As previously announced Portishead will headline both nights as well as co-curating the line-up, with a different supporting line-up joining them each day. Sunday 24th sees GRINDERMAN taking the stage before Portishead. Check out a little of what to expect from ATP over at our Vimeo Channel - vimeo.com/illbeyourmirror/grinderman

Today we can confirm a number of new additions:

New additions are: John Ford's The Searchers, The Coen Brothers Fargo, the James Mason narrated curiosity The London That Nobody Knows, Mark Cousins documentary Cinema Iran, cult classic Easy Rider and the swinging 60s documentary Tonite Let's All Make Love In London featuring footage from the 14 Hour Technicolour Dream shot at Alexandra Palace. Also on Sunday, ATP presents a special interactive screening of cult hit The Room.

  • Today we can also announce we will be hosting a bar In the lovely Rose Garden of the Palace, with entertainment from the Charles Morris Jazz Band, DJing from Nick of Intoxica and dj.78 (using a pair of 1930’s HMV wind-up gramophones and a big box of 78rpm shellac discs) and magician Steve Faulkner (2nd place in Magic Circle Close-Up Magician of the Year 2010).
