Texan Josh T. Pearson is a man whose legendary musical output has only grown in stature over the years. Many will be familiar with the short-lived phenomenon that was Lift to Experience, which released one sprawling masterpiece - 2001′s The Texas-Jerusalem Crossroads - before splitting up soon after.
It took Pearson a full decade to make another record – as soon as his Berlin-recorded debut solo album Last Of The Country Gentlemen appeared, it was clear that it was worth the wait.
Following on from a string of sold out London shows – at The Slaughtered Lamb, the Purcell Rooms and the Union Chapel - Pearson closes 2011 with this very special Barbican concert.
