We've got some fantastic London shows coming up this rOcktober, plus Beach House will hit the Manchester Ritz near the end of the month...
10th October - You may have caught the fantastic Balam Acab when he was picked by Mogwai to perform at this May's I'll Be Your Mirror London festival. We are happy to now present a London headlining show at new venue Birthdays next week. Tickets are on sale now and almost sold out, click here to buy.
16th October - Having released their excellent new album 'Wixiw' in July, Liars will play the Scala on the 16th. Support on the night comes from The Haxan Cloak. Tickets are on sale now.
17th October - Dirty Projectors fantastic sixth album, Swing Lo Magellan is out now, and the band will return to London to play the Roundhouse on the 17th, with tickets on sale now. Callers are confirmed to support. Click here to buy tickets.
22nd October - After a well deserved break following the massive success of 2009's Veckatimist, Grizzly Bear returned this month with possibly their best album 'Shields', and their biggest London show to date is coming up on the 22nd with support from Villagers. Tickets are on sale now.
29th October - This month we will be launching a new weekly gig series at the Sebright Arms, London. This will be an opportunity for you to check out new bands, many of whom will be making their first London appearances, at a low ticket price and we'll also be bringing in a mixture of guest DJs, and each night could feature anything from visuals to film to cabaret each time to make it a great regular fixture on the London live music calendar. One of the first nights will feature Coves, a two piece made up of Rebekah Wood and John Ridgard who are signed to Cross Keys and have been getting some great press since their first few tracks were put online. 31st October - Beach House are riding high on the success of their latst album Bloom and we're very happy to be promoting two regional dates alongside their previously announced and now sold out London show. The band will play Manchester Ritz on 31st October and Bristol Anson Rooms on 3rd November, both shows on sale now from this link.
