Next month from the 21st-23rd June, Deerhunter will curate and headline the last ever UK Holiday Camp ATP festival at Camber Sands, alongside many other amazing acts such as The Breeders performing Last Splash, Tom Tom Club, Steve Reich and many many more. Tickets are available now from this link.

My voice sounds like earth on clean sheets.
What are your most recent musical activities?
Playing Nick Drake songs at the Wilton Theatre last night (4/2/13). SXSW in Texas before that.
Sang on 'Give Peace A Chance' at Yoko Ono's 80th birthday gig in Berlin in February.
How excited are you to play this event?
As excited as someone my age can get.
Do you have a connection with Deerhunter / an idea why you were chosen to play?
No, it's a mystery. But very nice of them.
Which of your releases do you feel ATP attendees should check out first?
My new record Love From London; and Eye from 1990.
Is there one of your tracks you think specifically represents you best?
"Be Still", the current single.
Are there any other currently confirmed bands you're excited about seeing?
Pere Ubu, The Tom Tom Club, and Deerhunter themselves.

What have your previous experiences at ATP been like (if any)? Any favourite memories?
We played last March at Minehead, I met people from Australia, Israel and Texas. It was like a dream seeing the groovers in an off-season British seaside holiday camp. We had a big crowd and a very nice reaction.
