We've received some updated info from the local bus company regarding buses between Rye (the nearest train station) and Pontins, Camber Sands for the forthcoming ATP curated by Deerhunter event...
"The Wave route 100 which runs between Hastings and Lydd (for Dover) is timed at Rye Rail Station to connect with trains arriving from both Ashford and Brighton. The schedule is as follows...
On Friday 21st June May 2013:
From Rye Rail Station Stop B buses leave at 11:04, 12:04, 13:04, 14:04, 15:05, 16:05, 17:05, 18:05, 18:30, 18:46, 19:05, 19:46 & 20:05. (There will be 2 buses on the 14:04, 15:05, 16:05 and 17:05 departures) - Buses will show either Camber or Lydd (for Dover) on the destination display.
On Monday 24th June 2013:
From Camber 08:18, 08:28 (route 553), 09:03, 09:18, 09:53, 10:08, 10:18, 10:53, 11:18, 11:53, 12:18, 12:53, 13:18, 14:18 - buses at 18 mins past the hour are scheduled to connect with trains from Rye at 55 mins past each hour. (There will be 2 buses on the 09:18 departure from Camber).
The single fare is £ 2.80. A return is not available for outward travel on a Friday and return travel on a Monday."
