ATP Iceland Announce Onsite Camping Availability

ATP Iceland has announced onsite camping at the ÁSBRÚ festival site - a former NATO base located in Keflavík, Iceland.
The site is unusual and cinematic, with various hangers, runways, and air traffic installations still visible from ÁSBRÚ's former life. ATP Iceland inhabits the Atlantic Studios hangar space with the main stage, also using the base's cinema and Officer's Club for the film programme and festival after-party. Tours of the base are also available for those who wish to do some daytime exploring.
The experience of camping on the base is an attraction in itself, as well as providing an additional option for those who didn't pick up an accommodation ticket.
Says ATP founder Barry Hogan: "Being camping virgins, ATP has decided to break their camping cherry in Iceland this summer. The people of Iceland have spoken, and after the numerous requests we have have had, this seems like a natural solution for ticket holders."
Says ATP Iceland organiser Tómas Young: "We are super excited to be able to offer for the first ever ATP campsite in Iceland. This is at the height of summer in Iceland so the timing couldn't be better. The accommodation options sold out very fast so in order to allow more folks the opportunity to get to the event we decided to listen to the fans and do a campsite onsite which is very reasonably priced. This will also allow all those traveling from Reykjavík and the local area to join the party without worrying about driving, and camp at ATP!"
Campsite access for the duration of ATP Iceland July 10-12 is 15 GBP/ 3000 ISK. These tickets are available on www.midi.is.
