ATP Iceland Announces First Ever Unsigned Talent Competition + Andrews Theatre Stage Curators

ATP Iceland can confirm that influential Icelandic collective Bedroom Community (described as "The best record label in the whole of Iceland maybe even the entire world" by Drowned In Sound) and leading Icelandic broadcaster Rás 2 Radio will curate the festival's Andrews Theatre Stage, completing the 2015 line-up. Joining the likes of Iggy Pop, Drive Like Jehu, Belle and Sebastian, Public Enemy, Swans, Godspeed You! Black Emperor and Run The Jewels will be, Bedroom Community founder Valgeir Sigurðsson - who will appear with viola de gamba virtuoso Liam Byrne - as well as Daníel Bjarnason, JFDR, Pink Street Boys, Rythmatik and Börn.

ATP Iceland is very happy to announce the festival's first ever Unsigned Talent Competition. Opening on May 18th, the competition will give two lucky bands the chance to win spots opening up the Andrews Theatre stage at ATP Iceland 2015. One band will be chosen by Bedroom Community and will open up their stage on Friday 3rd July, and another band will be chosen by Rás 2 Radio and will open up their stage on Saturday 4th July. A further two bands will be chosen as runners-up, with each band member receiving a 3 day pass to the Festival.
To enter, please fill in the entry form HERE. Entries close on May 26th after which top 10 finalists will be chosen and the two winners chosen by RUV and Bedroom Community will be announced on June 1st.
