About CPH:DOX
Since the beginnings in 2003 CPH:DOX has rapidly grown to become one of the most influential documentary events, with an inventive and internationally recognized programme profile that borders on visual arts, experimental films and fiction – and on music performances and live events. We strongly believe in the artistic possibilities of cross-over events, and since 2010 CPH:DOX has explored the audiovisual hybrid field between music, film and art with the series AUDIO:VISUALS.
Other acts performing at this year’s AUDIO:VISUALS concerts include Factory Floor, Fo?llakzoid,The Haxan Cloak, Omar Souleyman, James Ferraro, Holly Herndon, Dalglish, Linda Perhacs and more (entire lineup).
About Fuck Buttons
Last year, Fuck Buttons qualified to be the musical frontrunners at the Olympic opening ceremony in London. The musical athletes took part in Danny Boyle’s soundtrack and fed the audiences with atmospheric and techno-inspired electronic music. Fast forward to summer 2013. Fuck Buttons releases its third album, ”Slow focus”, which once again is a musical demonstration of how Benjamin John Power and Andrew Hung challenge and expand their productions. The album has become one of the most critically acclaimed albums this year, and the duo has found the recipe for the perfect mix between badass electro-techno, piercing synth-noise and hip-hop beats.
Live their arsenal of instruments and ear-splitting drones will not just beat the hell out of your eardrums, your eyes will be well-challenged too, as Fuck Buttons will perform their own visuals at the show.
